Gary E. Mitchell

After a career in law, both in Chicago, Illinois and Grand Rapids, Michigan, Gary began the serious pursuit of acting on stage and in films. He has made a number of industrial films, commercials, and short student films for Compass College of Cinematic Arts in Grand Rapids. He was featured in an Addy winning commercial for Nutrilite Supplements and has made a number of training and marketing films for Amway Corporation, Steelcase, Herman Miller, Old Kent Bank, and the Gold & Silver Exchange. Voice over work includes Meijer, Inc., Zondervan, Inc., the Grand Rapids Art Museum, and The Catholic Guild for the Blind in Chicago, Illinois.
In 2020, Gary played real-life humanitarian Mel Trotter in the feature film, "One Life At A Time". He also played the President in the web series, "Real American", available on YouTube at: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5nLmYv0TqfPwHsEtfAF5MTbv9wkg1vPy.
Gary and his wife, Mary Beth Quillin, own and operate GEM Theatrics, a professional theatre company that produces two-person plays for performance in schools, libraries, Universities, and corporate events. www.gemtheatrics.com.
