- Mark is a New Zealand-born, LA-based composer known for his film, choral and contemporary classical music. He most recently scored Andrew Traucki's shark thriller 'The Reef: Stalked' - released in cinemas July 2022 and now streaming on AMC's Shudder. Dread Central has dubbed it "The best killer shark flick of the past five years". In 2021, Mark scored the rom-com 'Love You Like That' and exorcism feature 'The Possessed', his fourth collaboration with horror master Chris Sun ('Boar', 'Charlie's Farm', Daddy's Little Girl').
Mark has received four Hollywood Music in Media Awards nominations (2013, 2015, 2017, 2021) and twice won Best Score at the Australian Screen Industry Network Awards, for 'Charlie's Farm' (2015) and Daddy's Little Girl' (2012).
In 2017 he made his concert conducting debut with the Ruse Philharmonic (Bulgaria), performing 'Fiordland' from his score for 'Flying South' (Natural History New Zealand). The same year, the full score was performed live to picture by the Christchurch Symphony.
