Newly based in Toronto, Canada, Can/Brit actress Samantha Lawrence spent 10 years working in the Theatre and Film scenes in London, England. She made her West End debut in the UK Premiere of Daniel J Rubin's 'The Viewing Room' opposite Leonard Roberts of TV's 'Heroes'.

Since returning to Canada, Sam has been awarded 'Best Actress' in competition for her work in BLUR directed by Jazz Virk. So far this year, she has played the female lead of 'Theresa' on the episode 'Internet Casavova' of TV show 'Web of Lies'. She's just finished shooting the lead role of 'Celeste' in the dark comedy 'Bedtime Story', and has played the role of 'Grace' in futuristic thriller 'Volition', which was just showcased at the Bloor Cinema. She has also played the role of 'Joanie' in Melanie Gilliagan's feature 'The Common Sense'.

In 2012 she played the lead role of 'Ingrid' in Alexander Monzon's feature 'The Cult', along with shooting French director Cyril Eberle's 'Hasard', and Episode 6 of The Butler Brother's 'The Undrawn'.

Sam is a member of CAEA and BAEA.
