Erik began his filmmaking journey around the year 2000 when he and his friends picked up a digital camera and began making short films for fun. His passion continued and his skills expanded after he graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Culture and Communications with a focus on Visual & Cinema.
In 2022, Erik completed his first feature film, "Life in Decay", a documentary on abandoned, historic buildings in the northeast United States and the subculture of urban explorers who risk their safety to enter these locations to capture pictures before they are gone forever.
In 2023, Erik completed his first feature-length, budget-conscious horror movie script and hopes to begin filming in 2024.
Over the course of his filmmaking career, he has also completed over 40+ short films/commercials and have been involved with writing, directing, producing, cinematography, editing, and everything in between.
