Nicholas Sergeyev was born on 15 September 1876 in St. Petersburg, Russian Empire. He is known for The Sleeping Beauty (2007). He died on 23 June 1951 in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, France.
He choreographed the ballet, "The Nutcracker," in the Sadler's Wells Ballet production at the Sadler's Wells Theatre in London, England with Alicia Markova (Sugarplum Fairy) and Harold Turner (Prince) in the cast. Tchaikowsky was composer. Lev Ivanov was writer.
