Two pensioners in Wiltshire have been given anti-social behaviour orders after allegedly attracting too many pigeons to the area. The Wiltshire council claims that the pair fed the birds every day, which led to hundreds of them visiting the town of Trowbridge. Danuta Rogowa, 75, and Margaret Ann Reynolds, 69, have refused to stop feeding pigeons since they moved to the area ten years ago. However, the council has said that the pair - along with a third woman Teresa Wozniak - have contributed to the pigeon population rising "excessively". A spokesperson said that the faeces produced by the pigeons has "resulted in a slip hazard on pavements" and "excessive damage to a number of buildings, including a high number of listed buildings".
