Maria Dinn was born and raised in Holyrood, Conception Bay,
Newfoundland, Canada. She began taking classes in ballet, jazz, and
creative movement for dance theatre from an early age. It was not until
late in high school that Maria turned her attention from dancing to
acting. In her last year of high school she stared in the play "Sorry,
Wrong Number".
Upon graduating from the University of Windsor with a BFA in Acting,
Maria immediately signed with an agent in Toronto and started starring
in theatre productions across Canada.
In 2012 Maria moved her focus from stage to screen. In a short time
Maria has done quite a bit of work guest starring in various TV series,
and starring in short films, web series, and features films.
Studied Suzuki Method and Viewpoints with Ann Bogart and the SITI Company in New York City.
Is a certified yoga instructor.
Maria has two older brothers named Robert and Eric.
She spent a year in Sokcho, South Korea teaching English as a second language to kids ages 5 to 18.
Maria worked two summers as a janitor on Little Cornwallis Island, Nunavut, Canada with Polaris Mines. Little Cornwallis Island is a Canadian Arctic Island.
