The first feature film by the duo composed of Lorenzo Valmontone and Thomas Szczepanski pays tribute to humanity in an exploration of exile. Following in the footsteps of recent extreme French horror movies like High Tension, Frontiers, Inside, and Martyrs, The Hunt follows an undercover reporter commissioned to write a story about a series of gruesome murders. Very little information is available on Thomas Szczepanski's (Obsessione) feature The Hunt. However, the film's trailer is intriguing as characters attempt to outrun death via crossbow bolt. The film will likely be delivered in the French language and while this trailer has no dialogue the synopsis tells a tale of a man attempting to boost magazine sales with murder (Bloody). Here’s what we know:
1. There’s a house with creepy people in white masks.
2. There are some other people running through the bushes.
3. A few more are being hunted down by a dude with a bow.
4. Another person is being tortured.
That isn’t a whole lot to go on at the moment but it’s all very promising. While we dig for more details, check out the great trailer for Thomas Szczepanski’s The Hunt.
