![This story captures events transpiring over a few days in the life of a gentle hearted street musician named Robert. Robert lives a solitary existence and finds solace through only two things: first there is his trumpet, which has kept him company since childhood; second there is his increasingly frequent visits with Michael, the young drug dealer who befriends him. Through Michael, Robert gets the only real human connection available in his life. But human connection is not the only thing Robert wants from Michael. Robert must pay a dear price for the brief escape Michael sells and is forced to pawn the very emblem of his soul, the trumpet he has owned since childhood.](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BMjExODk4NzQ0OV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwNTU5ODc4Mg@@._V1_QL75_UX500_CR0,47,500,281_.jpg)
