Stars: Daniel Ross, Cory Okouchi, Jay Saunders, Devon Brookshire, P.J. Megaw, Dan Guy, Carla Okouchi, Jasmine Guillermo, Sam Lukowski, Elliot Kashner, Daniel Mascarello, Lyon Beckwith, Mina Noorbakhsh, Vicki Parks | Written and Directed by Justin Timpane
With a title like that, what could possibly go wrong? The epic finale of a trilogy (no, really, there are three of them) which has seen the titular ninjas take on vampires and zombies now has the superhero team battling horror’s most classic villains – Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman and the Mummy. It speaks volumes for the monsters’ recent output that this ultra lowbudget film is the best some of them have been in years.
Going into Ninjas vs Monsters blind, there’s a surprising amount of history to catch up on. The gist of it: a gang of slacker friends are gifted ‘Ninja’ super powers while battling zombies and a resurrected loved one turned bad.

The ninjas of the "Ninjas vs." franchise take on a new member who's driven to rescue the girl of his dreams from a group of evil vamps.
Satisfying followup to Ninjas vs. Zombies has the right balance of "Blade" type action and horror. The right amount of Gen X type humor channeling films like "Reality Bites" and "Clerks". The right amount of posing and posturing to give it that cool factor. And just the right amount of edge and bite to give it some substance. Ninjas vs. Vampires is a briskly paced, entertaining film with one little fun vignette right after another. Part of the success of this entry is that the film has energy.

Think back to the comedies of the 1990's like Clueless, Reality Bites, Clerks, etc. They had edge. They had bite. They captured the spirit and the essence of the Gen X slacker mentality to the tee. This period of film has been looked upon by fans fondly. There have been films that have tried to capture the essence and the spirit of these films, but too often do these films come across as feeling forced and labored. Enter Washington D.C. based actor Daniel Ross of Ninjas vs. Vampires (starring: Jay Saunders, Cory Okouchi, Carla Okouchi, Devon Marie Burt, Melissa McConnell, P.J. Megaw, Elizabeth Taylor and Kurt Skarstedt and directed by Justine Timpane). This aspiring up and coming presence captures the mentality of the actors of that period and of those films through his performances with such ease and fluidity. Ninjas Vs. Vampires, his latest film, also serves as the perfect showcase for Daniel Ross,...

Who doesn't love the concept of this: Ninjas Versus Vampires? I went into this film with mediocre expectations and came away with a huge taste of ass-kicking ninja satisfaction!
The same guys who brought us Ninjas Versus Zombies (review here) have created something special this time around. Our favorite ninjas return this time to battle it out with vampires of all things. Justine Timpane returns as writer and director for this second helping and has far, far surpassed his zombie offering. He has absolutely kicked it up a notch (no pun intended) and succeeded on all levels.
The story and chemestry is strong and returns our favorite pizza/ninja guy Kyle (Daniel Ross) who once again adds just the right touch of one-liners when needed along with kick-ass ninja action of course. Joining Kyle are Cole (Cory Okouchi ), Lily (Carla Okouchi), and a few others who meet new ally Aaron...
