- Older brother of Royce Mann. son of 'Sheri Mann Stewart' and 'Barry Stewart Mann'. Chosen by Turner Broadcasting as one of 20 Atlanta teen "Voices of the Future" (Industry Youth Leaders). Recipient of Hampshire College Humanitas Award as an incoming Freshman in recognition of his achievements in professional theater and film. Taking a gap year prior to starting college. Toured Alaska for 3 months at age 17 in a professional Yupik play. In his high school Jr. year, spent a term at The Conserve School in Wisconsin as one of 60 students chosen nationwide to receive a full scholarship studying sustainability and related subjects. Traveled to Indonesia at age 15 as part of CISV (Children's International Summer Villages) Step Up (Leadership Training level).
- Tendal is the recipient of the Humanitas Award from Hampshire College, recognizing his work in professional theater and film since age 7.
- Tendal spent the Fall of his 17th year touring throughout Alaska and being hosted by tribal communities starring in a powerful depiction of the abuse suffered by indigenous youth in white "boarding schools" as a method of "assimilation".
- Tendal is attending his first Sundance festival with #DigitalLivesMatter, which is featuring a panel and scenes for an invited audience on Saturday, 1/21/17. Tendal plays antagonist Simon in the film.
