Carson Lane Campman is a writer and filmmaker originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
She wrote her first book, "Sugarbird," and self-published it through Blurb when she was just 17 years old. She went on to publish two more books, "Philosophically Dead" and "The End is Short and Near."
She is studying screenwriting at the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communication at California State University, Northridge.
Her first screenplay, "Darling," won the Abraham Polonsky Undergraduate Award in Screenwriting from CSUN when she was just a freshman. "Darling" is also a finalist in the LA Cinefest and became internationally recognized when it was chosen as an official selection in the Rome Prisma Independent Film Awards.
She interned at Level 1 Entertainment in the fall of 2018, reading scripts and writing coverages.
