- [on when his interest for acting began] It's hard to say when I began having an interest in acting. If you ask people I was always inclined to play the class clown and was continually in trouble for goofing off so I guess there was a hint of it there, but as I said growing up out bush it's certainly never a thought that you entertain.
- [on his experience with CGI work for Malibu Shark Attack] It's certainly an experience acting on green screen or with SFX. It's great because you can let your imagination run wild. You really need to visualize because you need to have a huge emotional reaction to your girlfriend being taken by a prehistoric shark but in reality you are actually yelling and screaming and crying holding onto a big dildo-esq rubber hand that has corn syrup spurting everywhere. Love it!
- [on one of his biggest achievements] Biggest achievement. At the risk of sounding like a sap, when I graduated from The Actors Conservatory, we had the ceremony and I won one of the main awards for Best Comic Performance. My Dad was at the ceremony and once I got through all the who-ha I saw him in the lobby and he couldn't say anything. He was just nodding and was chocked up and you could tell he was proud. We come from a long line of Bricklayers so for someone to break that and be able to live something they love, I think that was big!
