In high school Tom began working for a CBS television affiliate as an
entertainment reporter. He has interviewed some of Hollywood's biggest
celebrities including: Matt Damon, Denzel Washington, Leonardo Di
Caprio, Halle Berry, Ben Stiller, Dustin Hoffman, Jack Black, Jerry
Bruckheimer, and Will Ferrell.
Tom's talent for dealmaking, development, and entrepreneurship inspired him to pursue a career as a Film/TV producer.
In 2005, Tom founded the ROAR Network, Loyola Marymount University's student-run TV network. In only its second year, ROAR was named one of four "Top Student-Run TV Stations" in the United States by mtvU.
In May 2008, Tom graduated Magna Cum Lade from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Television Production.
He has been chosen as one of 12 top student producers in the country to attend UCLA's prestigious Producers Program in the fall of 2008.
Tom got his start in development working under Mike Duffy, Sr. Vice President Development at RDF USA.
Tom worked as a personal assistant to top reality producers JD Roth and Todd A. Nelson. He also aided their company, 3Ball Productions, in research/development related tasks.
Tom most recently has been working and learning the business at Jerry Bruckheimer Films/TV.
Tom currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
Tom mentored under famed producer Mark Burnett as his youngest ever VP of development & current programming. Was twice named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list (2013 & 2014). In 2014, he launched Media RED, a fresh take on the modern day production company. Media RED develops multi-platform formats and branded campaigns.
