Brent Spencer(II)

Writer and actor Brent Spencer has played roles in several films,
including Lucky, Bush Pigs, Cannibal Girls, and Flyover Country. He has
also appeared in two Prilosec commercials and frequently appears on
community theater stages in Omaha, Nebraska. He is the author, most
recently, of Rattlesnake Daddy, a memoir that won the 2011 Nebraska
Book Award. His other books include the novel The Lost Son and the
story collection Are We Not Men?, both from Arcade Publishing. With his
wife, novelist and short story writer Jonis Agee, he writes
screenplays, one of which was produced by Roger Corman's New Horizons
Picture Corporation. He directs the MFA program in creative writing at
Creighton University. He is a graduate of the Iowa Writers Workshop and
holds a certificate in screenwriting from UCLA.
