The Department of Justice has charged Democratic Texas Rep. Henry Cuellar with participating in a scheme to commit “bribery, unlawful foreign influence, and money laundering,” according to an indictment unsealed Friday.
Cuellar and his wife, Imelda Cuellar, are accused of accepting “approximately $600,000 in bribes from two foreign entities: an oil and gas company wholly owned and controlled by the Government of Azerbaijan, and a bank headquartered in Mexico City.”

Warning: Spoilers ahead for “Chucky” Season 3.
The “Chucky” Season 3 finale, “Final Destination,” picked up with Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur) venturing deep into the spirit realm for the sole purpose of finding where Chucky (Brad Dourif) may be hiding Lexy’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) younger sister. As Lexy and Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson) guarded his body, Jake confronted the ghosts of his past, including many, many iterations of Chucky. That led to Jake falling straight into Chucky’s trap, with the serial killer using his counterparts to distract him while he hijacked Jake’s body.
Bloody Disgusting spoke with Arthur, Arnarson, and Lind about the season finale, where the trio discussed working with guest star John Waters and reflected on their favorite moments from the series so far.
Finding sister Caroline (Carina Battrick) has been Lexy’s primary goal this season, and her relentless pursuit has put her on the offense when it comes to Chucky.

Sen. Robert Menendez (D-New Jersey) may present a defense strategy that blames his wife for the alleged bribery charges he currently faces. Court filings revealed that Menendez’s legal team filed a secret document in January, which was made public on Tuesday.
According to the documents, “While these explanations, and the marital communications on which they rely, will tend to exonerate Senator Menendez by demonstrating the absence of any improper intent on Senator Menendez’s part, they may inculpate Nadine by demonstrating the ways in which she withheld information from Senator Menendez or otherwise led him to believe that nothing unlawful was taking place,” the documents state.
If Menendez were to take the stand in his trial, his defense would argue that he was unaware of any bribes and that his wife, Nadine, had kept information from him. Menendez’s lawyers argue that if he testifies, he could provide evidence...

The Netflix documentary Hell Camp: Teenage Nightmare introduces us to an American teenage behavioral camp led by a former special forces officer, Steve Cartisano. Steve Cartisano’s “wilderness camp” was later recognized as a “hell camp,” which became a nightmare for the teenagers enrolled in it. While the parents of these teenagers believed that only in this discipline camp would their children learn a life lesson, they had no idea that their children would be subjected to physical and mental abuse. However, a tragic incident surfaced when one of the kids in the camp died from extreme torture, which eventually led to Steve Cartisano’s downfall.

This article contains spoilers for Fargo season 5 episode 7 “Linda.”
FX’s Fargo is not shy about indulging one-off sojourns into the realm of the fantastical. The show’s second season featured a UFO deus ex machina while season 3 took time out for a trip to a celestial bowling alley that might be the afterlife or at least the soundstage for The Big Lebowski.
Fargo‘s latest dip into the dreamworld, however, is one of its most impressive yet. Fargo season 5 episode 7 “Linda” finds our hero Dorothy “Dot” Lyon (Juno Temple) visiting the mysterious Camp Utopia to find her abusive ex-husband Roy Tillman’s (Jon Hamm) first wife Linda (Kari Matchett). In the process she stumbles into a whole bunch of other Lindas (who greet with one another with a cheerful “Hi Linda” like in Barbie) … and some puppets.
At first glance, the proceedings come across as reality – albeit a strange reality.

Sam Spruell as Ole Munch in ‘Fargo’ season 5 episode 7 (Photo Cr: Michelle Faye/FX)
FX’s Fargo season five episode seven begins with the introduction of an obnoxious new character. However, don’t get too attached to the deadbeat dude as Ole Munch (Sam Spruell) decides to wipe him off the face of the earth in an act that’s brutal yet justifiable within the episode’s first five minutes. Can’t say that the jerk didn’t have it coming.
Dot (Juno Temple) is burning the candle at both ends, trying to keep ahead of Roy Tillman and his many minions. She briefly nods off at the wheel but wakes before the car drifts off the road. Dot wisely decides to grab a meal and a coffee at a roadside café.
Poor Dot, she nods off again right at the table, waking to the delivery of smiley face pancakes.

With Season 2 of Chucky wrapped up under the Christmas tree, Trace Thurman and I sat down with show runner Don Mancini to discuss bottle episode “Death in Denial,” why Nadine (Bella Higginbotham) had to die, and where the show could go in a potential Season 3.
Let’s dive deep into all things “Chucky” with Don Mancini, shall we?
This interview has been edited for length and clarity.
Bloody Disgusting: What lessons did you learn from S01 that informed your approach to S02? Did you do anything differently this season?
Don Mancini: On S01 we had a lot of locations, sometimes 1 hour away from Toronto and we would have to [stay in] hotels. So one of the things I wanted to do [in S02] was take that burden off the production and keep us a little more centralized so we could focus on the drama, and the characters, and the puppets without moving around so much.

Exclusive: Lyse Doucet, the BBC’s international news supremo, has said she felt she was “fighting for the license fee” when broadcasting for weeks on end in Ukraine earlier this year, as she opened up about covering warzones, “painful” World Service cuts and the digital news revolution.
Doucet, the Chief International Correspondent who has been reporting from conflicts for decades, sat down with Deadline for a rare interview earlier this month in which she passionately defended the BBC and spoke of how the early days of the Ukraine war felt like a defining moment for the corporation’s existential future.
“During those days we felt like we were fighting for the future of the license fee,” said Doucet, as Rishi Sunak’s new government ponders a review into the funding model, which was due to start around the time Boris Johnson stood down as Prime Minister several months ago.

Anthologies within our favorite genre are definitely trending upward, with V/H/S, The Abcs Of Death and other such fare making waves the past couple of years. Well, now you can add another film to the list of those joining the party. That would be Sinister Visions, a film that features five different stories, from succubi, zombies, demons, serial killers, and a segment entitled “Genital Genocide.” You’re decision one way or the other has been made by that segment title alone, I suspect. The project is preparing for screenings abroad over the summer and a DVD around these parts in the fall. Check it out.
