Born in Northampton, England, Yolanda showed passion for the arts at a
young age. She moved to Oshawa, Canada with her parents at ten months
and spent her youth writing, performing, dancing, singing and modeling.
She obtained a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Western Ontario
and went on to pursue modeling in New York after graduation.
In 1997, she moved to London, England where she began a successful
career in advertising. In 2003 she studied screenwriting at Ryerson
University then also at UCLA, which inspired her to return to the
performing arts for good. She went on to write and direct a
crowd-pleasing stage play at the 2004 Toronto Fringe Festival and most
recently has appeared in the History Channel's Mob Stories, a short
film entitled, The Professional and performing improv with Pantry of
Creams in Toronto.
