Meg Packham

Meg Packham was born in Sydney, Australia in 1941 and started writing
as a child in primary school, when she used to fill exercise books with
(usually) detective stories. She has been a nurse, teacher and NSW
Conservatorium student of Voice and Viola and once hoped for a career
as an opera singer. Her second novel A Woman of Air received the
Elle/Random House Fiction Prize. She is the grandmother of child actors
Clancy Ryan (Razzle Dazzle, A Journey into Dance) and Lachlan Ryan
(Footy Legends).
