There were several moments I really enjoyed here. I loved where Josh talked to his father about him paying for Josh to visit him in Thailand — the only problem being Josh would have to see his father there. Josh’s quiet comment of ‘That’s a shame’ was hilarious as was the bit with the dog in a dress. I also liked Tom talking about having a child, only to find out that you didn’t like it very much and would have to pretend to love it. It had an odd ring of truth. But, my favorite was the gag about the erotic gif that Tom made. This show is full of lines that are rich with wit and warmth. And Claire and Tom’s kiss in the rain was really sweet. But I still think that Tom’s ex isn’t pregnant.

I like this new arc for Chris. It not only makes perfect sense and plays right into the show’s history, it is also is very consistent with Chris' personality. I know that a lot of the commentary on this last week’s plot was that Chris was being stupid and he was. He had no business accepting the deal with Paul after Lucas told him not to and he definitely should not be getting behind the wheel of the car with no license.
But it’s been long established that Chris is the type of person who needs to feel needed, is practically obsessed about fixing a problem and he has no issue with lying if it suits him. Plus, given that he feels that the problem was his fault to begin with, I can easily see Chris going to great lengths to resolve it.

Raw
I'm so glad that Geoff finally made an appearance on this season's Raw and it irritates me that we've only got two episodes left to finish out his story arc. And well, I'm of two minds about what they have done with his character. See, I wasn't upset that Pavel died at the end of last season. I didn't want him dead, I just never cared for him and Geoff as a couple. I loved them as individuals, but they never worked for me as a duo. I felt that Pavel had softened Geoff so much that he was no longer the bad ass chef that I fell in love with in season one. So I was glad the relationship was over and Geoff could move on with his life.
Geoff was still mourning Pavel’s death....
Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Even though a year has gone by,...

General Hospital
I’m glad the show is starting to use Felix more and having him connect to some of the other characters on the show besides Sabrina, who I don't care much for, but I really hope he’s going to be more than just a "talk to." It’s just hard for me to even care if he’s not going to be a fully fleshed out character and have a life, complete with romantic interests. It’s nice that he doesn’t hide his attraction in men, but unless we get to him in romances like all the other characters, then he’s really not being treated equally. If he likes the bad boys, then bring on one of them for him.
I did like hearing more about him, such as that he used to work at Foxy Roxy’s in Llanview. But...

Hollyoaks star Pj Brennan has revealed that his character Doug Carter won't be hoping to win back ex-lover Ste Hay when he returns to the village. Doug arrives back next week and comes face-to-face with Ste for the first time since their split in December. Ste reunited with Brendan Brady after his relationship with Doug came to an end last month, and it seems that the trio's love triangle is now finally over. Brennan told Inside Soap: "Doug's primary reason for returning is the business that he runs with Ste. There were a lot of dark moments for Doug last year, but the one positive thing to come out of it all was the success of the deli. "So while Doug left a lot of bad things behind, he turned his back on some good things too." On Ste's relationship with Brendan, the actor continued: "Whatever his opinion on the situation,...

Hollyoaks deli owner Ste Hay receives a nasty shock later this month as his ex-lover Brendan Brady punches him again. Ste (Kieron Richardson) is hoping to reunite with Brendan (Emmett Scanlan) when the village's bad boy leaves him distraught with the sudden act of violence. The latest twists in Ste, Brendan and Doug Carter's love triangle kick off when Doug (Pj Brennan) wants to move back to America after learning that his dad Herb has Parkinson's disease. While Doug feels strongly that he should be around for Herb, it's unclear whether Ste will want to join him as he seems reluctant to leave his life in the village behind. Ste knows that he'd struggle to be without Brendan, so as he continues to wrestle with his feelings, he pays a visit to Chez Chez and begs the Irishman to ask him to stay. The pair soon share a kiss,...

Doug Carter's parents make another visit to Hollyoaks next week with bad news for their son. When Doug and Ste's financial troubles rear their ugly head again in the coming days, the return of Connie and Herb could present a solution as they offer the couple money on the condition that they'll agree to move to America. Ste is pleased when Doug (Pj Brennan) seems opposed to the idea and throws his mum and dad out of the deli, but it soon becomes clear that Doug may actually be (more)...

Coronation Street
My favorite moment of this week came when Eileen, after the truth about Maria and Marcus had been revealed, told them that they were selfish idiots who had hurt a lot of people with their deception. She spoke the truth when she predicted this would end in a lot of tears because Marcus would be unable to change who he is, a gay man. I’ve said that from the beginning of this storyline and if that was a foreshadowing moment, I have to say I agree.
As much as I find Maria and Marcus sweet together, I do think that Marcus seems to have ‘adjusted’ to his new life awfully quickly. Yes, he had a brief moment of ‘confusion’, but he got over that fast. And is it just me, or does it seem that now that Marcus is sleeping with Maria, we...

Hollyoaks deli owner Ste Hay is left fighting for his life in a coma in the aftermath of the soap's upcoming wedding day disaster. Ste (Kieron Richardson) ties the knot with partner Doug Carter in next week's episodes, but a shocking chain of events puts him in a critical condition shortly after they have exchanged their vows. Although Ste is upbeat following the ceremony, things turn sour at the reception when he discovers that Doug's phone contains a recording of Brendan Brady confessing to Danny Houston's murder. Shocked that Doug has gone so far to land Brendan in trouble with the police, a furious Ste goes out for some air. Standing outside, Ste is then horrified to see the sixth formers' out-of-control mini-bus heading straight towards his daughter Leah. Driver Maddie Morrison swerves just in time to avoid Leah, but the faulty brakes on the (more)...

Hollyoaks airs some of its biggest episodes ever later this month as wedding day joy turns to tragedy for a number of characters. Fans can expect at least two shock deaths as a terrible chain of events leads to a mini-bus crashing into the wedding venue which is playing host to Tony Hutchinson, Cindy Longford, Ste Hay and Doug Carter's joint nuptials. The drama begins when young couple Ruby Button (Anna Shaffer) and Martin 'Jono' Johnson (Dylan Llewellyn) decide to flee to Gretna Green to tie the knot. Although they would prefer a ceremony closer to home, eloping is their only option as they don't have the blessing of the Osbornes. Bart McQueen (Jonny Clarke) is first choice to transport the pair and the other sixth formers to Scotland, but when he lets everyone down by getting stoned on the big day, it's time for a drastic plan (more...

Hollyoaks
So... Brendan’s back. Can’t say I really missed him, especially with the way the character has been written these days. I know we’re supposed to feel sorry for Brendan, and that he suffers so, the writing is certainly slanted that way. But having watched the show since Brendan arrived some two years ago and seen all the horrible and horrific things he’s done, sympathy is the last thing he gets from me. I guess I still have those visions of Brendan murdering his grandmother still in my head (not to mention dismembering a body!). I keep asking myself how the show and fans of this character reconcile that murder, but it seems that they all simply pretend it never happened.
As for Cheryl’s anger towards Brendan, she has every reason to be. She did witness him cutting up a body after all.

Kieron Richardson talks viewers through what they can expect in Hollyoaks' upcoming bus crash storyline in a newly-released video. The actor - who plays Ste Hay in the Channel 4 soap - describes the events that are due to air next month as "completely unmissable". Richardson's character is due to marry boyfriend Doug Carter (Pj Brennan) in forthcoming episodes, but tragedy strikes when a bus crashes through their wedding marquee. Richardson explains that practically every popular character in the soap is in danger as they are all attending a combined celebration with Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) and Cindy Longford (Stephanie Waring). The clip also shows a recap of the proposals and relationship dramas that have taken (more)...

Neighbours
I guess I shouldn’t be shocked that now that Chris and Aidan are back together, they’d return to their old roles of supporting players in everyone else’s drama. Sadly, we don’t even get any scenes of them enjoying being back together or working to get the point they were before the split as they were nearly living together back then, though Chris did casually mention they were taking things slow. Let’s hope we get some insight to their relationship as it goes forward, though given this show’s history, I have my doubts.
As for the drama we did see, I really find Chris’ endless support of Andrew to be annoying. As Tash and Summer rightfully pointed out, Andrew screwed Chris over and would do it again. And he barely apologized for nearly ruining Chris’ life and almost bankrupting Chris’ family.

Hollyoaks' Doug Carter is left to consider his future with Ste Hay next week as their relationship comes under further strain. Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson has confirmed that a wedding does take place on the soap next week. The actor's character Ste Hay has a tough time ahead in the coming days as his boyfriend Doug Carter (Pj Brennan) prepares to marry flatmate Leanne Holiday (Jessica Forrest) in a scam to secure his wedding inheritance. Although the sham wedding was Ste's idea, he does a u-turn next week by issuing an ultimatum on the eve of the ceremony. Richardson told All About Soap: "He says to [Doug], 'You either tell your parents that we're a couple, or I'll do it for you!' It's left on a bit of a cliffhanger, so viewers will wonder whether Doug can work up the courage to come out to his folks." Asked how things progress the next day, he replied: "Well, a wedding does happen, but I'll leave you guessing whether (more)...
