Richard is nominated for a Whatsonstage award for 'best actor in a new musical'.

- Adapted film 'A Clockwork Orange' for Edinburgh Festival 2004. While at Edinburgh, the production received rave reviews from the press while playing to sold-out audiences. Although the production was written by him, it was directed by Godlight's Artistic Director, Adam Stevenson and later went on to tour the UK.
- Max Stafford-Clark's Out of Joint theatre company's production of Mark Ravenhill's 'Shopping and Fucking' at the Royal Court Theatre, London. Richard plays Robbie from October to December with possible contract extension.
