Not many would consider it hard labor to stand in the shadow of Jennifer Lopez. Few, perhaps, could stand as still and as long as documentary filmmaker Jason Bergh.
For nearly a decade, Bergh has recorded the multi-hyphenate star behind the scenes as she has charted new paths as a content producer and beauty mogul, and danced her way onto America’s biggest stage — the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Last month, Bergh took his loftiest seat at J. Lo, Inc. by serving as director for “The Greatest Love Story Never Told,” a much-discussed documentary about the making of Lopez’s 2024 visual album “This Is Me … Now.”
Imposingly tall and excessively kind, Bergh has been a gentle giant in the unscripted space for years. He’s directed episodic and short content on notable music figures like Alicia Keys and athletes Stephen Curry and Clay Matthews. After the dust settled on “Greatest Love Story,...

Family Feud viewers are coming for Steve Harvey after he gave a contestant a little talking to.
During a face-off at the podium, a contestant named Kristian from the Gilbert family went up against Medina from the Abed family.
Host Steve Harvey was looking for the top eight answers on the board, supplied by the 100 people surveyed.
Steve asked the two competitors, “What might make a lady frog fall in love with a bullfrog?”
Kristian was quick to tap his buzzer first, and when Steve called on him for his answer, he said, “His scent.”
Kristian’s response wasn’t among the top eight answers, earning the Gilbert family an “X” and zero points and allowing Medina to get a correct response and take the lead.
Steve Harvey gives his contestant some advice: ‘Keep that in mind next time’
Medina’s answered “Warts.” It was one of the top eight answers at the No.

Joey Graziadei’s season of The Bachelor has been rough for Maria Georgas.
The Canadian beauty wowed viewers on premiere night, but it’s been a rollercoaster ever since.
She earned the ire of Bachelor fans on the second episode when she “changed into something more comfortable” and got clowned for it.
But ever since, Maria has been working her way into Bachelor Nation’s hearts after she became the target of some seriously disturbing bullying.
Sydney zeroed in on Maria early after she decided to be offended by something Maria said about her age following a comment made by Madina.
It didn’t even bother Madina that much, but Sydney rode that drama right out the door because Joey wasn’t having any of it.
Then, with Sydney gone, it seems Lea felt the need to step into that drama void, and she took over in taking aim at...

A few months after Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were married in 2022, Lopez got a call from Jane Fonda. The two had been friends since 2005’s “Monster-in-Law,” and it was Fonda who had introduced J. Lo when she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Fonda was reaching out because Lopez had asked her to appear in a yet-undefined film (with music) that would examine Lopez’s romantic failures in some kind of meta way. Lopez wanted Fonda to play a member of her Zodiac love council. (More on that later.)
Fonda had her doubts. So before deciding, she talked to Benny Medina, Lopez’s longtime manager, expressing skepticism about any project that seemed to excessively celebrate the Affleck-Lopez reunification. Medina relayed to Lopez Fonda’s thoughts: “I believe that everyone in the entire world is pulling for this relationship and this love. And the idea of how...

Siinger-songwriter Jennifer Lopez has confessed ‘This Is Me… Now’ could be her last ever album. The ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker, 54, has admitted her new record — which is all about her relationship with Hollywood actor husband Ben Affleck, feels like an “end of an era” and the “beginning of a new one”, reports Female First UK.
The singer told Entertainment Tonight: “We did a bunch of different album covers. We try to do stuff that’s very special for the fans and do collector’s items and things like that that they can have forever and ever. The truth is I don’t even know if I’ll ever make another album after this. It’s such the quintessential kind of Jennifer Lopez J.Lo project and I really feel very fulfilled, so they really will be collector’s items at a certain point.”

Nearly eight years have passed since writer/director Jason Lei Howden announced that he would be making a sequel to his feature directorial debut Deathgasm (watch it Here). In that time, Howden has made Guns Akimbo and set up a film and comic book project called Monsters of Metal… and now he’s finally getting ready to head into production on Deathgasm 2! But to get the sequel made properly, he needs some help from the fans. That’s why Deathgasm 2 is currently raising funds and selling perks – including accepting pre-orders for copies of the finished film – on Kickstarter.
Deathgasm, released in 2015, tells the story of two high-school metal-heads, Brodie (played by Cawthorne) and Zakk (Blake), who form a band called Deathgasm. One day, while delving into some dark magic to escape their mundane lives, the duo unwittingly summon an evil entity called The Blind One. In the sequel, “which promises...

During the TIFF screening of Isiah Medina’s He Thought He Died, which was preceded by Blake Williams’ 3D short Laberint Sequences, nearly half the theater cleared during its one-hour duration. There was also a curious number of restless souls still sitting and some who just started talking during the film––not in whispers, to which Williams issued a shush. But I imagine Medina has experienced this kind of response before. It’s probably not unexpected for a public screening to feature many people who, despite TIFF commercializing them as the “world’s best audience,” are probably not used to watching much beyond Hollywood narrative cinema. Medina’s opening statement was that he believed “cinema is not a linguistic art.”
Whether “linguistic” should be taken literally or in terms of “visual language” is the kind of academic ambiguity Medina loves to play around with: he’s the guy who went...

Putting a client on the stand can have some net positives, but it is almost usually a bad idea. A bad idea seems good when you're out of options.
After the developments on The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Episode 8, Mickey was at a loss for what to do and decided to put Lisa on the stand.
Lisa told an emotional story on The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Episode 9, and it was effective because it might have been the truth.
She covered all her bases, beginning with why she never wanted to sell to Bondurant.
Lisa: My father bought the building for next to nothing. He made cabinets. So he ran a shop on one side and raised a family on the other. I wanted to do the same thing.
Mickey: You live there as well?
Lisa: Yes, it's my home. That's why I didn't want to sell it to Mitchell Bondurant or to anyone.

D-day!
Everything that had happened on The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 so far had been leading up to this day -- The People vs. Lisa Trammel.
Supporters and opposers packed the courtroom in the gallery. As usual, Judge Medina was not a fan of theatrics, so everyone needed to make their case by sticking to the facts.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Episode 7 picked up on the first day of the trial, and it was time to present opening statements.
Every part of a trial, especially with a jury, is important. You must make great impressions throughout or risk losing someone, which can be the final nail in someone's coffin.
It was disappointing that we didn't see the jury selection process, which is usually the first of a series of important tasks.
Mickey's words taught us that one juror might be on their side, and usually, that's all lawyers need.

Isaac Ezban's "Evil Eye" ("Mal de Ojo") welcomes and reassures audiences with grandmotherly comforts like a folkloric horror tale before nap time. Co-writers Junior Rosario and Edgar San Juan help Ezban summon brujas (basically witches) and terrify infirm children with witchy production value fit for the grimmest fairy tale books. "Evil Eye" explores Dominican campfire stories that drip of slime-green goo and adolescent curiosities about the dark arts. Ezban's filmmaking is a warm genre blanket that wraps around viewers, as the soothing bonds of bloodlines turn treacherous the farther we press into whimsically malevolent cultural influences.

Nearly seven years have passed since writer/director Jason Lei Howden announced that he would be making a sequel to his feature directorial debut Deathgasm (watch it Here). In that time, Howden has made Guns Akimbo and set up a cool film and comic book project called Monsters of Metal… but now he’s finally getting back to Deathgasm 2. Deathgasm stars Milo Cawthorne, James Blake, and Kimberley Crossman are in talks to return for Deathgasm 2.
Variety reminds us that Deathgasm, released in 2015, tells the story of two high-school metal-heads, Brodie (played by Cawthorne) and Zakk (Blake), who form a band called Deathgasm. One day, while delving into some dark magic to escape their mundane lives,...

Every successful star has a manager tirelessly pushing that individual's brand behind the scenes, and in our day and age, every bold Latina artist needs a powerful public-relations agent advocating for her. For some of the Latinx rising stars of today, that woman is Loren Medina. The firm she founded, Guerrera PR, Marketing & Management, handles public relations for some of our faves, like Kali Uchis, Omar Apollo, Danny Ocean, and Yendry. What sets these artists apart is their penchant for cutting-edge sound and meaningful lyrics. This is unsurprising since, for Medina, the principle ethos of her business has been maintaining her authenticity and staying true to herself, despite the industry's pressures. And she tries to create an environment where her clients can do the same.

In her new Netflix documentary, "Halftime," Jennifer Lopez reveals why she was against the NFL's plan to have two headliners at the 2020 Super Bowl. The Grammy-nominated artist shared the stage with Shakira in what was a historical moment for Latina representation. However, behind the scenes, Lopez was stressed out about her ability to make an impact during the show due to the small amount of time she and Shakira were each allotted to perform.
After the documentary premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City, Entertainment Weekly reported details about a scene where Lopez voices her frustrations over being a coheadliner. "We have six f*cking minutes. We have 30 seconds of a song, and if we take a minute, that's it, we've got five left. But there's got to be certain songs that we sing, though. We have to have our singing moments. It's not going to...
