She was given national exposure by performing "Where's Johnny" and "Roy, A Puzzling Boy" on ABC-TV's "Shivaree" but the record failed to chart. She also flashed her vocal talents on "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis" and the "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson".
She released four records in 1964 on the Tower label, including:
"Here Comes the Heartaches", "Where's Johnny" and "Roy, A Puzzling Boy".
She appeared on two episodes of "Dobie Gillis". In the first she did not sing. In the second, however, the entire episode was focussed on her character's budding singing career, thus highlighting Mary Miller's vocal talents throughout.
