Mary Kasnias
- Actress
Mary Kasnias grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. From a very early age
she was the family "star" and entertained anyone that would watch. She
loved to dance and perform. She took dance lessons starting at the age
of three and piano at the age of six. Mary also started acting at the
age of six and did many public service announcements and children's
videos on the East Coast. She was a regular on a local children's
television show called "Small Talk" and often hosted the show. By age
fifteen Mary knew acting was her passion and decided she wanted to
pursue it. She joined John Robert Powers Acting Academy in Jacksonville
and was singled out by the owner, Kim Flowers, who brought Mary to
Hollywood at age sixteen. Mary had truly found her calling and begged
her parents to move her to Hollywood so she could pursue her dream.
That was over three years ago and she now lives in the Los Angeles area
and continues her education in acting. She has taken classes from such
noted acting coaches as Lesly Kahn, Bernard Hiller, Michelle Danner and
Joey Paul Jensen to name a few. Mary was featured in the movies
Transformers, Material Girls and Potential. She starred in a public
service announcement "The Hazards of Crystal Meth". She was also
featured on Hannah Montana and That's So Raven. Her most recent role is
that of Ashley in the pilot "Dakota Blue". Mary's other great passion
in life is her love for animals. She hopes to one day provide a haven
for homeless dogs, cats and birds.
