Troy made his television debut in the Sy-Fy series Painkiller Jane (2007) as a misfit hooligan with super powers. He quickly followed that with a role as Lucy Hale's friend and fellow theater geek on NBC's Bionic Woman (2007) reboot. With momentum in his corner Troy packed up and moved to Hollywood. It wasn't long before Cartoon Network attached him to be a part of the "Stuff Squad," where Troy was flown to Atlanta and New York to shoot their campaign in the middle of Time Square. Honda was next to showcase him in their popular "Summer Clearance Event" Campaign during the 2012 Olympics, a year where Troy would also make his film debut in "Geography Club-The Series" (2017) written and directed by Gary Entin and Edmund Entin.
Troy honed his comedic chops in the Web Series You've Probably Dated My Mom! (2013) sharing the screen with "Blackish" and "Big Little Lies" actor Amy Tolsky. He can next be seen on the festival circuit starring in the horror pilot The Ice Wolf Queen Pilot (2019) about a boy who struggles to survive after breaking into a families haunted house.
