Grey's Anatomy turns 300!
The ABC medical drama aired their 300th episode on Thursday night, in an hour paying tribute to several iconic moments from its 14 seasons.
An accident at a country fair brings in a variety of patients to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, several of whom look shockingly similar to original characters Cristina (Sandra Oh), George (T.R. Knight) and Izzie (Katherine Heigl) -- and even say "seriously," like the Fab Five did in early seasons.
The original cast is also honored when a new class of interns is shown in the tunnel that the Fab Five previously called home, with “Glasses” even tripping like George did in the pilot when they get a page. The group then runs across the catwalk, as Meredith and Alex tell them to slow down -- which they were told to do in the pilot.

As many iTunes lovers and Youtube fanatics understand, music (old and new) has become a huge factor on hit television shows and both the show and artists featured benefit from the collaboration. Ever YouTube a certain scene from your favorite show for hours on end? Did it have a catchy song that you immediately downloaded? Yes, the odds are that you have.
Television show soundtracks are an obsession over here and the music played make that specific scene that much more memorable. Grey's Anatomy and Shonda Rimes have featured fantastic music at Seattle Grace and continue to do so. Matching the right songs for a medical show may seem hard, but it comes off natural and easy for the series. This can definitely be seen in memorable scenes using The Fray's "How To Save A Life" and Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars."

Last week we posted sneak peeks for the upcoming musical episode of Grey's Anatomy, which will be airing on March 31 (view them here). It looks like Callie and Arizona will be getting into a car accident, with Callie taking the brunt of the damage. In fact, the first sneak peek in the previous post shows her suffering significant damage. The musical part comes in with Callie's....spirit, if you will...moving around the hospital as her friends work on saving her.
Now RyanSeacrest.com has full versions of two of the songs from the upcoming episode (which are also embedded below). While the second sneak peek here showed us a preview of cast members singing The Fray's "How to Save a Life", below we have Sara Ramirez singing Brandi Carlile’s “The Story", and Ramirez, Chandra Wilson, and Kevin McKidd singing Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars".
Apparently the full song...

Yes, fans are abuzz with the news of "Grey's Anatomy's" musical episode on March 31. But, what if you're over the "Glee" effect and musicals make you cringe? Jesse Williams, who plays Jackson Avery, says he knows where you're coming from, but you shouldn't worry.
"People might not love it. I tend to not like musicals on principle," Williams, 29, tells Zap2it. "But this is not jumping the shark, it's not a trick, it's not a gimmick. It's totally in line with this season and these characters. And it's just incredibly moving."
The musical episode revolves around a crisis with Callie's (Sara Ramirez) pregnancy and will feature some "Grey's" classics, including songs by Snow Patrol, Chasing Cars, and even the show's former theme song, "Cosy In The Rocket" by Psapp.
"I don't even think this should be called a musical," Williams says. "It's just a regular episode of 'Grey's Anatomy' that's just super-heightened,...

The doctors of Seattle Grace are about to put down their scalpels to sing a song or two.
Yesterday, TV Guide revealed that plans are in the works for a Grey's Anatomy musical episode for later this season. Now, before you go on a "Jump The Shark" rampage, showrunner Shonda Rhimes declares her musical will not be in the vein of Fox's sing-a-thon hit, Glee, where people burst into song at the drop of a hat.
"We're not going to have an episode where you turn on the television and people are singing for no reason," Rhimes confirmed to TV Guide's Natalie Abrams. "It has a reason, there's a story underneath it and there's a point to the whole thing."
Rhimes also mentioned the singing talents of former Broadway actresses Sara Ramirez and Chandra Wilson and how she will put them to some use for the episode, especially Ramirez, who's...
