- Marc Walkow was born in 1968 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. He is a producer and actor, known for The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) (2011), Mutant Girls Squad (2010) and The ABCs of Death (2012).
- Speaks Japanese and works extensively within the Japanese film industry, a rarity for a westerner, particularly because he has never actually lived in Japan.
- Began his work in the entertainment industry at various home video companies, including TLA Video, Image Entertainment and The Criterion Collection. Went freelance in 2006, working first as a DVD/BD special features producer, then moving into film festival programming and direction, publicity and promotions, and eventually film production.
- Founding member of the genre film label Sushi Typhoon and honorary member of the Fundoshi Corps (which also includes Yoshihiro Nishimura, Noboru Iguchi and others).
- Has been hailed by Todd Brown, writing on XYZ Films' movie news website screenanarchy.com, as "the true source of virtually all English language" information online relating to Noboru Iguchi and Yoshihiro Nishimura.
