Allan Jones is an independent film producer working in Boston and Los
Angeles. Mr. Jones is also active in real estate investment, which
includes developing the first two East Coast multiplexes for Landmark
Theatres.
He earned his BA from Middlebury and MBA
from Northwestern (Kellogg). Between undergraduate and business school,
he served as an officer of Bank of Boston in their national real estate
lending group, and after graduate school ran a private real estate
investment firm.
Since 2008, Mr. Jones has produced four films, which have
played at SXSW, Seattle International, the Hamptons, and other
prestigious film festivals. His productions include The Family Tree
starring Dermot Mulroney, Hope Davis, Selma Blair, Bow Wow, Christina
Hendricks and Chi McBride, and Miss Nobody starring Leslie Bibb, Adam
Goldberg, Missi Pyle, Brandon Routh and Vivica Fox. The most recent
production, The Moment, wad directed by Jane Weinstock and stars
Jennifer Jason Leigh, Martin Henderson, Alia Shawkat and Marianne
Jean-Baptiste. It is due out in 2013.
