The Serenaders were a group of teenagers from Thousand Oaks, California that played music from the Big Band era made up of 13 boys and one girl singer. Their names were Hugh Brooks, Paul Edwards, Steve Still and Chris Straight on trumpets; Steve Jeffers on trombone; Steve Josephs, Steve James, Ken Roach, Rick Still and Kevin Straight on saxophones and clarinets; Dale Gifford on drums; Mike Hanson on bass; Kim Zerba on piano; and Mary Platz on vocals. The band leader and music instructor was Eddie Allen.
