Daniel Castro Zimbrón founded Varios Lobos, the company where his first feature film, "Tau" (2012), was produced. As a director he has worked in several short films and TV series.
His feature film "The Darkness" (2016) it was selected in several co-production forums, such as L'Atelier within the Cannes Festival 2014.
Since 2010, he imparts courses at Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica, in Mexico City.
