- Lee Ann Donner is known for Nova (1974) and Frontline (1983).
- Lee Ann is a "bad violinist," and played in orchestras in Jackson, TN, Tupelo, MS, Jonesboro, AR, Cambridge, MA, and North Andover, MA.
- Lee Ann went to summer school after 9th grade to take 10th grade English in order to graduate a year early and move on to college.
- Lee Ann liked college so much she spent many years there, majoring in education, then psychology, then music (violin performance). She attended on a state board scholarship. When that ran out, she took a position at a public radio station licensed to Duquesne University, where tuition was a benefit of employment, in order to finish - with a degree in history and minor in music.
- Both of Lee Ann's parents were bitten by poisonous snakes. Her father was from New Orleans, and was bitten by a Water Moccasin while playing in the swamp. Lee Ann's mother was bitten by a Cooperhead while out for a walk on the sidewalk a few homes up the street from their house in Memphis. Both parents survived their snakebites.
