While Mrs. Reagan maintained in her memoir "no political decision was ever based on" astrology, Quigley insisted in her memoir "What Does Joan Say?", she was responsible for the timing of press conferences, the timing of the State of the Union addresses, the timing of the takeoffs and landings of Air Force One, and the timing of the Reagan/Walter Mondale debates.
