- (March 15, 2002) Report: Edited, researched, and wrote A Study on the Status of Homeless Veterans in California. Oscar-winning actor Gregory Peck's son Stephen Peck MSW, executive director, U.S. VETS, was the primary contributor. Requested by Assembly Member Gloria Negrete McLeod via her legislation enacted into law, Assembly Bill 1060, Chapter 265. Steve and his colleagues submitted the report to Gov. Gray Davis and the California Veterans Board.
- (January 1, 2017 - April 1, 2017) Musical: Cesar and Ruben, written by Ed Begley Jr., directed by Richard Falcon, executive director, Teatro Nagual, Inc. Auditioned in July 2016. Performed Morgan Freeman's 1967 Parole Hearing monologue from The Shawshank Redemption and, while playing acoustic guitar, sang The Kinks' "Tired of Waiting for You." Five months later and coming out of left field, cast by Falcon as Father Donald McDonnell, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and Gov. Gray Davis. Following more than two months of rehearsals, Falcon presented Begley's jukebox musical at Grant Union High School Auditorium, Sacramento, Calif., USA. Begley attended one of the performances.
- (1990) Musical: Something in the Valley. Responded to an open casting call at McKinley Park in midtown Sacramento. Sang Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA" with piano accompaniment. Passed the audition. Subsequently, cast as a drunken 1849 gold miner. Sang in a quartet and did his own stunts including jumping off the top of a bar counter while wearing cowboy boots onto the floor and then being lassoed around the neck by another stunt actor. Six months of rehearsals. Staged over a period of two weeks on the grassy area near the California Railroad Museum in Old Sacramento, Calif. with dozens of actors, dancers, singers, crew members, musicians, and livestock of all shapes and sizes. John Wayne and Lee Marvin would have been proud.
- (1993 - 1996) Concerts: Following up on a suggestion by his then-guitar teacher, Tom Phillips, in late 1993, sang and played guitar and/or keyboards in seven bands in the first seven rounds of Weekend Warriors, a program created by Skip Maggiora, owner of Skip's Music, Sacramento and Elk Grove, Calif.

- (1982) Documentary, Short: Co-produced Gallant Eagle 82.
- (1990) Media Relations, Public Information, and Community Relations Event: Produced a Salute to Lee Greenwood at California's state Capitol in Sacramento. Both the State Assembly and the State Senate presented Greenwood with resolutions on the floors of the legislative chambers, honoring the Grammy-winning and Platinum-selling country music recording artist for his accomplishments in the entertainment industry and his support of the military and veterans, especially ex-prisoners of war and those missing in action. Following the presentations, Willie Brown, speaker of the California State Assembly, hosted a reception in Greenwood's honor in the Speaker's Conference Room. Greenwood's then-girlfriend, Shawn Southwick, and his road manager, Kip Ingle, accompanied him during the full day of activities, which included a courtesy visit in the Governor's Office with California Gov. George Deukmejian, and a by-invitation-only lunch at Frank Fat's restaurant near the state Capitol. Afterward, Greenwood performed his signature song "God Bless the USA" during a media event for Cal Vet Home Loans at the California Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Capitol Park. From there it was on to Bill Rase Productions, Inc., where, Greenwood recorded audio tracks for CDVA radio and TV public service announcements. Late in the afternoon, Steve flew with Greenwood, Southwick, and Ingle on a private Beechcraft King Air, provided at no cost by a local Vietnam veteran and his wife, from Executive Airport in Sacramento to Portland, Ore., the next stop on Greenwood's concert tour.
