Performance has always come naturally to this Florida native, who has made his home in Charlotte, North Carolina for the past two decades. His diverse career has included roles on both television and stage, in addition to accomplishments as a vocalist, songwriter, instrumentalist, and music and video producer. Since 2001, he has operated Lionel Cornelius Entertainment, an independent record label, arts and entertainment consulting firm. He's widely valued for his creative vision and keen attention to musical detail.
Lionel's career was elevated when he won the National Association of Realtors® Got Talent contest in 2012, followed by a nomination for a 2013 Carolina Music Award for Best Male R&B Vocalist for his debut single "Seriously in Love."
In 2014, Lionel released his freshman album "Intimate Details" in collaboration with producer, instrumentalist, engineer and arranger Mark "Magic" Stallings. His accolades include #1 solo artist in Charlotte on ReverbNation and an internet following of more than 300,000 dedicated fans.
