Our long national nightmare is finally over: “The Amazing Race” is back! Season 32 premiered Wednesday — 16 months after Season 31 ended. If you think that’s long, imagine how the cast feels because Season 32 filmed in November and December 2018 (not a typo).
Unlike last season’s reality showdown, Season 32 features a cast of newbies, but there are some notable folks, including former Carolina Panthers teammates DeAngelo Williams and Gary Barnidge, and Olympic hurdlers Kellie Brinkley and Lavonne Idlette.
Phil Keoghan also described the season to us last year as “back to basics,” so don’t expect a bunch of twists or bells and whistles. “Everybody always says, ‘What’s new and different?’ But at the end of the day, fans like the fact that there are certain things they can expect from the show and they want to see those things again and again. And there’s nothing wrong with that,” he said.

Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we should just jump right in.
Match #1: The OGs (Homicide and Hernandez) beat two jobbers in a Tag Team Match
My Take: The OGs beat the hell out of two jobbers until they were dust in the wind.
Match #2: Allie beat Shotzi Blackheart – Knockout’s Match
My Take: This was a solid match that featured an exciting wrestler named Shotzi Blackheart, who could be an excellent addition to the Knockout’s Division. The action was pretty even and had lots of energy. This was a solid opener.
Match #3: Eli Drake beat Grado (w/ Katarina and Joe Hendry)
My Take: Eli and Grado had a good match. Grado has come a long way in the past three years, as has Eli Drake. I don’t know what they have in mind...

We absolutely love it when celebs use their influence for a great cause! According to Espn, DeAngelo Williams of the Pittsburgh Steelers will pay for the mammograms of 53 women. Why 53, you ask? Williams chose the number to honor his mother, who passed away from breast cancer at the age of 53. The mammogram tests will be purchased for women at a North Carolina hospital. Before Pittsburgh, Williams played for the Carolina Panthers. The running back was denied his request to wear pink throughout the season in order to honor his mother who passed from breast cancer in May 2014. Instead, Williams streaked his hair pink along with making the choice to buy the...
