Patrick Smith(XV)
- Producer
"Born in the heart of the entertainment industry, Los Angeles, Patrick Smith has been intricately connected to Hollywood through both familial and professional ties. Two generations back, Patrick's mother shared school benches with Josie, the wife of the legendary John Wayne, forging a connection that would later ripple through Patrick's own life. The Antelope Valley, where Patrick spent significant time, was home to Jack Palance's ranch. Following the sad demise of Jack's son, Cody, Patrick spent considerable time with Jack, leading to an introduction to George Stevens, Jr., the acclaimed founder of the AFI. This serendipitous connection led Patrick to collaborate on a story about the Desert Sierra Film Guide with Stevens Jr. The valley also introduced Patrick to R. Lee Ermey, another noteworthy association in Patrick's storied journey through Hollywood. Patrick's dedication to the arts was further solidified at the Met Theater in Hollywood where he worked closely with Paul Koslow, his son's godfather and the person responsible for introducing Patrick to the film industry."
