- Renee Fishman is known for Sister Italy (2012), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999) and Rocky Balboa (2006).
- The Ouija Board, now owned and manufactured by Hasbro and their Parker Brothers subsidiary, was manufactured earlier by Renee's grandfather, Jacob Chaitt, from approximately 1940 to 1966, which he did in secret to maintain its magic and mystery with the public. Renee worked hard to prove her family secret after many wrongful claims had been made over the past 45 years. In a stunning revelation, Hasbro and Parker Brothers have verified and confirmed her family's previous connection to the game.
- Known as Renee Philly Fishman on sets along the East Coast from Boston to Richmond. She was given that nickname because of her Philadelphia roots.
- Wanting be a registered nurse since childhood, Renee volunteered for many years as a Candy Striper, then worked her way through nursing school as a nurse's aide until, while attending the University of Pennsylvania, she became the first student nurse in the country to join its new Nurse Extern Program at Graduate Hospital, the sister hospital to HUP (the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania). This program, still in operation today, provides nursing students with additional, paid training to enhance their clinical excellence. Programs like this have grown nationwide and are now available at hospitals throughout the US in every specialty field.
- Renee was one of only 10 contestants selected to compete in the Inaugural Story Slam Contest put on by the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) School of nursing, held Feb. 2019. Contestants had to tell a story, in 6 minutes or less, about innovation in their own nursing careers. Penn Nursing, Renee's alma mater, is ranked as the #1 nursing school in the world.
