- Pia Thrasher is an award-winning actor, writer, director and multi-media artist originally from Germany, where she studied the arts at the E.T.A. Hoffman Gymnasium. Her acting experience started around 5th grade in school theatre and several small stage productions in her hometown in Germany. Soon after immigrating to the U.S. she tasted 'movie blood' while working on several film sets as an extra, including James Cameron's "Titanic". After playing numerous supporting and leading roles in indie features and shorts, Pia's curiosity about film production lead to her working on film sets behind the scenes, gaining more knowledge and skills as a filmmaker. The dark comedy short 'The Appointment' was Pia's directorial debut in 2015. She then wrote, directed and starred in her award-winning short films, the horror comedy 'Things We Dig' and crime thriller 'The Test'.- IMDb Mini Biography By: J.R. Thrasher
