Arno Balzer
After finishing school with a high school diploma, Balzer studied economics in Mainz and Nuremberg. In 1986 he completed his studies with a doctorate. He started his career in print media in 1990 as an editor at "Wirtschaftswoche" before moving to "manager magazine". In October 1991, Dr. Arno Balzer heads the main business and financial press department at Daimler Benz AG in Stuttgart. In 1992 he returned to "manager magazine" in a management position. In April 1999, Balzer was appointed deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine. He initially headed the financial markets and investments departments and, from July 2000, the corporate and finance departments.
On July 1, 2003, Dr. Arno Balzer succeeds Dr. Wolfgang Kaden appointed editor-in-chief of "manager magazine". Martin Noé became deputy editor-in-chief of the Hamburg business magazine. In this position, Balzer is considered an excellent corporate journalist who combines many years of experience with high analytical skills. The magazine, founded in 1971, is part of the Spiegel Group and in 2006 achieved a monthly circulation of around 130,000 copies.
