A full Free Movie of the Day is posted on the JoBlo Horror Movies YouTube channel every day of the week – but on Fridays things get even freakier and a little more fun. Get your weekend started the right way by indulging in Friday Fright Nights! Every Friday, we’ll be taking a look at another genre movie you can watch in its entirety, free of charge, either on the YouTube channel linked above or in the video embed here.
This week’s Friday Fright Nights feature is the witchcraft horror movie Incantation, which was written and directed by Eric Gibson… and which brought to mind something Stephen King mentioned in his book Danse Macabre. King suggested that the 1979 classic The Amityville Horror works as well as it does because of its subtext of economic unease. He jokingly said the movie could have been subtitled The Horror of the Shrinking Bank Account.

Billed as the trippiest genre film of 2019, Devil’s Acid sees a drunk father (the films director Garrett Kruithof) telling his son a bedtime story about a group of people spending the night at an abandoned, and possibly haunted, prison facility, where they all take “Devil’s Acid”. They then start having problems differentiating between reality and the trip. And the devil may or may not actually show up to taunt them all!
So, and bear with me on this, we have a guy telling a story to some kids (who later hijack the story themselves) – which straight away taints the legitimacy of the story within. Then everyone in said story takes acid – which taints the legitimacy...

Sundance 2011 is about to kick off, so it's a trip down memory lane for me to watch this, since Skateland premiered at Sundance last year and that's where I saw it. The film is a vintage 80's coming-of-age drama starring Ashley Greene, Shiloh Fernandez, A.J. Buckley and Haley Ramm and more. It follows a group of kids and explores how their lives change when the local roller rink shuts down. It's actually pretty good, but nothing incredible, but this new official trailer from MTV sells it very well. In fact, I want to see this again, looking forward to rewatching it. Oh but watch out, because Ashley Greene will melt your heart. Watch the official Us trailer for Anthony Burns' Skateland: In the early 1980s, in small-town Texas, dramatic events force a 19-year-old skating rink manager to look at his life in a very new way. This also stars Finch Nissen,...
