Jonathan Kalbfeld

Jonathan was born in Ann Arbor, MI in 1977 to Saul Kalbfeld, a TV broadcast engineer at National Educational Television (PBS), and Felicia
Kalbfeld, a delivery room nurse at the University of Michigan hospital in Ann Arbor.
Jonathan attended the University of Michigan before moving out to the Bay Area in the 1990s to work in Silicon Valley, and then moved to Los Angeles in 2003 where he joined NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a software engineer. He later attended CSU Northridge, receiving an MBA in Finance.
In 2012 he sought the Democratic nomination for the US House of Representatives in California's 28th Congressional district, but received only 3% (about 2000) of the votes.
2018: He is writing a television series chronicling his friend's relocation from Connecticut to LA and their friendship as roommates living with Kalbfeld's two small children from his marriage.
