Acting in theater from the age of five Igor Szczurko fell in love with
the dramatic arts. He studied Political Science and Philosophy at the
university of Guelph with thoughts of pursuing a Law Degree and
practicing Law. But the pull of the arts never wavered and Igor
re-found his true passion and decided to pursue a career in film.
Entering the film industry Igor has worked on various shows in many positions on set. He brings his experience in all aspects of the Film Industry into production. He wrote and directed the TV Pilot "Rude Awakening" (2007) an episodic anthology TV series. He co-wrote and produced "The Hitchhiker Project" (2008) and produced the award winning short film "The Golden Pin" (2009) which screened at over fifty international film festivals and won 2nd place from The National Film board in Canada.
Igor produced, "The Metronome" (2010), which played the film festival circuit. In 2011 Igor produced "Pearls of the Far East", the film premiered in the early 2012 to a great reception.
