- Lead singer for the seminal and influential California hardcore punk band The Adolescents. He left the band in 1987, but returned in 2001 when they reunited. Tony is still a member of The Adolescents, as of 2008.
- Also sang for the bands ADZ, Abandoned, White Flag, Sister Goddamn and Flower Leperds.
- Aside from his musical pursuits, Tony has a career in teaching, and for a period taught special education. He also writes poetry.
- The Adolescents' 1981 self-titled debut album has been regarded by some critics as one of the most influential hardcore punk albums of all time.
- Currently working on The Adolescents' follow-up to "O.C. Confidential", which should be released later this year. (February 2008)
