Musical duo consisting of vocalist/double bassist
Pete Morgan
and another musician, Colin James. They were signed to Phillips Records
in the UK and had a number of hit singles from 1963 to 1968 including
"Sweet Pussycat" and "Put Your Tears Away". The three Albums they
released include "At the Bar of Music" and "Two for the Road". When
they split up in 1969, Pete Morgan became a session musician. During
the 1970s and 1980s he worked on many hit singles and albums and worked
on TV. He also joined the
Dudley Moore Trio and was a member of the
Roy Budd Trio, both with
Chris Karan.
