With a modest 30 years under his belt, Nick Cannon has done it all. He’s a lead actor, improviser, Reality TV host (America’s Got Talent), presidential DJ, radio show host, and Chairman of TeenNick. He’s also married pop-star Mariah Carey and is heading for fatherhood later this year. Eat your heart out Diddy.
Now, Cannon is heading to the stage in his first ever stand-up comedy show special on Showtime. Saturday, May 14th at 9 Pm, Showtime will debut Nick Cannon: Mr. Showbiz. It’s advertised as a storyteller’s comedy show, with Cannon discussing his rise to fame and all the celebrity DOs and Don’Ts along the way. Apparently, he also considers himself a failed gangster. Perhaps his tough guy routine in Drumline boosted his inner rebel. He’s also had twitter-beef with rapper Eminem. Why? Probably because beef with Eminem or 50 Cent is like a rite of passage these days.
