Pascal Tessaud is born in Paris and grew up in working class
projects around Paris. After studying Literature, Cinema and Philosophy
at Nanterre University, he worked 3 years at Saint Denis in an
association before starting directing films.
He has done three short films: "Noctambules" in 2003, with the
Palestinian actress Hiam Abbass, "L'Ete de Noura" in 2005, "Facies" in
2008 and "Slam, ce qui nous brule" (Words are burning us) about the
french Poetry slam Movement in 2007 which has been screened in 35
countries. He has done "Alien" a video clip for the Hip Hop group Milk
Coffee and Sugar in 2010.
