- At the age of 14 Giancarlo began attending the well-known, Florida based arts high school Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, where he enrolled in the theatre program. At Dreyfoos he surrounded himself with multiple performing opportunities and earned the chance to study with Oscar winner Faye Dunaway and perform on stage with Tony nominee, Sandy Duncan.
The University of Central Florida Conservatory Theatre accepted Giancarlo into their B.F.A. Acting track in 2002. He spent the next four years in Orlando, Florida where he worked on productions including: The Laramie Project, All in the Timing, The Visit, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Guys and Dolls. By 2004 he was awarded acting opportunities in casting departments with both Universal Studios and Nickelodeon, in between a busy semester of performing overseas in Germany, Italy, and Austria.
Giancarlo Damiani has since moved to Los Angeles and made a successful segue way into film and television endeavors. Within 2 months of his Hollywood arrival, he booked the role of Mark on General Hospital alongside Kelly Monaco. He has also landed co-starring roles in two independent films, The Karaoke King and Convict. Other television credits include Nickeledoen's Zoey 101 and a re-enactment scene on FOX's America's Most Wanted.
While in Los Angeles, Giancarlo booked three years of performing contracts that would take him overseas as an opening cast member of the brand new Universal Studios in Singapore. Throughout his residency in Asia, he was awarded opportunities in several television commercials, a live gig representing Estee Lauder, and one of the leading roles in Singapore Repertory Theatre's production of Fantastic Mr. Fox. Audience members for these performances included Paula Abdul, Jet Li, and Lea Salonga.
In 2013, Giancarlo returned to Los Angeles where he recently completed the role of Dud in a television movie called, The Cookie Mobster.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Ayla Harrison
