MTV's <em>Total Request Live</em> reboot is losing its chief creative force.
Showrunner Albert Lewitinn, who launched the franchise last year, has exited. He is not being replaced as the internal production team will continue to run the franchise.
"Albert was brought on to help launch <em>Trl</em> and now that it's under way, he has decided to return to news production," an MTV spokesperson said.

CNBC--being strongly challenged by Fox Business and Bloomberg--has announced key management changes for two of the network's top shows, Power Lunch and The Kudlow Report. In a memo to CNBC staff from Jeremy Pink, CNBC's senior vice president of business news, Chris Sheridan was introduced as the new Executive Producer of Power Lunch and Albert Lewitinn as Ep of Kudlow.
