- Trine grew up in Belgium to a British father and a Belgian mother and was raised in both languages. At fifteen she was selected after several rounds of auditions to play a leading role at the National Youth Theatre (Het Paleis) in Antwerp. She wanted to pursue her acting studies abroad and was accepted at the Theatre Academy in Amsterdam, however, she eventually chose to study Drama at Liverpool John Moores University.
After graduating she joined the theatre circuit in London where several plays brought her to the Edinburgh Festival. She went on to perform at the National Theatre, Kosovo and SMAK in Gent among other venues. Simultaneously her TV career took off in Belgium landing her several roles in various series.
Her curiosity and drive made her expand her horizons into working behind the scenes also as well as being part of various theatre/art installations bringing the audience to the forefront. She played a part in the organization of large scale arts projects such as Anthony Gormley's One & Other Project in Trafalgar Square London as well as a producer for several music videos.
Trine also took a career break as she wanted to be around to raise her children. She lived in various places including London, Munich, and Amsterdam. Several years and plenty of life experience later Trine decided to move back to Antwerp, where she continues to hone her love for the arts, most recently with theatre collective PlayField performing in Belgium and abroad and as a drama practitioner with a particular love for inclusive drama helping children with learning restrictions and difficult circumstances through drama. She is currently also studying part-time as a certified drama therapist at university in Gent.
Trine is fluent in both Dutch (Flemish) and English and works as a regular voice-over artist in both languages for some of the biggest brands and studios in the industry.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Anonymous
