Elyse Lain

Elyse Lain (aka Elyse Lain Elshenawey) is a born and raised So Cal
girl. She spent the first 6 years of her life moving from place to
place in the LA area. Her family finally settled in Burbank (Media City
naturally) when she was 7. Elyse was a very enthusiastic child who
loved to sing, dance and perform whenever she had a chance. She
attended John Burroughs High School where she really found a flare for
the dramatic and began performing in show choir as well as taking on
the task of Tech Theater Vice President.
She graduated in 2003 and attended Fullerton Collegge while working at Disneyland. By a complete accident Lain took a theater class and was required to do practical work in an actual production. That is where she found the sewing machine and fell in love with Costume Design. She worked on such shows as Dracula, Metamorphosis, Brighton Beach Memiors, etc and acted as Assitant Designer on Side Show and Midsummer Night's Dream. The last major production that she worked on was Dragon Wars in 2004/2005. She is still hoping for a career in the industry after she attends Cal Arts University and gets a degree in Costume Design Technology and Management.
