with the acclaimed and distinguished acting coach Susan Batson. He first
appeared in Josh Evans noir tale, 'Jake Lead'; playing morally corrupt
cop, Rolando Montana. Soon after, Christopher began to collaborate on
his brother's surreal love story; 'Love Sick Diaries'. It was during
this lengthy production process that Christopher began to prepare for
his first lead role. Christopher took on the challenging role of Ethan
Vega, a drug dealer searching for love and redemption, opposite James Russo
and Maggie Hai-Uyen. After Love Sick Diaries, Christopher sought out diverse
roles that challenged his actor, both professionally and artistically;
working with Mexican filmmaker Alejandro Sugich taking on the lead role of
Abdul (2006) ; a wealthy and insecure terrorist questioning his motives and
beliefs. Venturing forward taking the lead role in Cyrus Ruiz Jennifer;
playing Ted Sullivan, a young kid from Kentucky looking to please his
gangster mentor, opposite John Sterling Carter. Never the actor to shy away from
risks, Christopher Ahuja took on the complex and disturbing role of
Jaleel Moosavi; a cameraman anxious to video the death of kidnapped
journalist Sara Brown, in Kevin Shulman, _Eyes of Samir, The (2006)_, opposite Tony Todd.
Christopher began an intense preparation period for his character,
learning to speak Farsi and study the culture of fear. Christopher
Ahuja's sense of character and story is what drives him to the written
material. Having been trained extensively and exclusively with Susan Batson
the past three years, dedicating his life to the art of storytelling.
Beyond the vulnerability, the rage, the charm, there is always the
passion that drives every single performance from Christopher
Ahuja.
